Costanza Ferrini (1964) graduated in philosophy of language, developed the idea of contemporary Mediterranean literature. She has lectured in many universities in North Europe,USA and Mediterranean countries, helped to found the scientific committee and the design of the literary collection of the Mesogea publishing house in Messina from 1997 to 2002.She was been in the scientific committee and then artistic director of the Mediterranean Literature Festival of Lucera 2003–2010.
